How many times have HBO changed their flagship product(s) names now? Seems like they do this every 6-12 months.
Perhaps they should change their CEO.
Yeah it’s moronic management of one of the most highly regarded brands
Extremely regarded
They do it to manipulate contracts and rights usage.
I don’t remember the details, I just remember reading about it years ago.
Every time they change their name, they are able to change contracts, business arrangements and rights usage … if their business model isn’t working, they shut everything down, cancel things that they can, renegotiate contacts and restart everything in better terms for them … then once that doesn’t work, then they change again.
Probably a good move but just proves that middle and upper management are useless. Just idiots playing each other in chess.
snip snap snap snap. do you know the toll 6 [HBO name changes] has on a person, jan?
Do you think they can undo the move that removed a ton of animation from HBO Max? I never got around to watching Infinity Train when it was on there.
Joke’s on them, I never stopped calling it HBO Max anyways. Or I called it “HBO… Max… Whatever it’s called now.”
I KNEW it was fucking stupid!

When I heard The Pitt was on Max I assumed it was Cinemax’s streaming platform
Cool, now reverse course on the Final Space decision and bring it back >:(
