According to a bombshell report from the Washington Post, the Department of Justice under Attorney General Pam Bondi is considering a plan that would let federal prosecutors investigate and indict members of Congress unfettered by traditional oversight designed to stop political persecution.

Traditionally, before such an investigation could proceed, a prosecutor would have their case reviewed by the lawyers in the Justice Department’s Public Integrity Section. But that would go away under the new proposal.

The report notes that, should the proposal go into effect, “a long-standing provision in the Justice Department’s manual that outlines how investigations of elected officials should be conducted” would be shunted aside and allow possible prosecutions based purely on politics.

God can you imagine the screaming they would do if Biden had done this. A cacophony of stuck pigs wouldn’t be able to contend.

We heard the screaming they did when they spent years building bullet-proof cases against Trump that were by the book.

You know they won’t most Americans want this, whether they admit it publicly or not. It can be seen in how they raise their kids and kick them to the streets at 18 while ignoring how their futures are limited and how much they are struggling. “You’re an adult, figure it out on your own” is an endemic attitude. Why do they even have children, who the fuck knows, Republicans aren’t the only ones who don’t actually give a shit about how their kids’ lives turn out. “Fuck you, got mine” is everywhere.

I do not believe it is actually a majority. Way too many, either way, though.

But two big issues I see is that most of us are literally living paycheck, where any significant time spent unemployed will result in losing your home.

Number two is how well armed the military is. Not to mention how many times our government has already proven they are more than willing to mobilize the forces against civilians.

So, yeah, we’re pretty much fucked.

Wasn’t it some dude named, uh, Hillter? And Bimmler? Maybe Ron Bibbentop?

There’s a lot to unpack here, but the title is sensational. So:

    1. This doesn’t expand any powers the DOJ has

    2. This doesn’t allow them to just indict whomever they want

    3. All the skilled litegators at DOJ have left the building, and only idiots remain.

    4. This group they THINK they can disband, cannot be disbanded, and their work cannot stop, so they THINK they are just going to sidestep it and do whatever Plam Blundy wants, but that’s not going to happen for a number of reasons:

    5. Judges are slapping the DOJ down and admonishing them left and right in court

    6. They still need FEDERAL judges to even bring an indictment, WITH EVIDENCE OF A CRIME, in order to get a warrant, and then maybe arrest somebody.

    7. Federal Judges absolutely hate having their time wasted, and this DOJ has done nothing but waste their time

    8. Judges DO NOT have to keep wasting their time with the DOJ requesting indictments if they continue to prove in court that are acting in bad faith (mala fides). So maybe one or two tries at this, and the DOJ will never allow them to file for this bullshit again.

Blondie thinks she found something to scare people…nah. They can’t do shit with this except make themselves look foolish, and get smacked down in court some more.

They’re expecting the judges to push back so they have an excuse to get rid of the judges.

You can keep hoping and praying, but they can’t do that either. At this point Trump just better try a complete overthrow, because this shit is getting nowhere, and will keep going nowhere.

There are less than 2000 federal judges, the Federalist Society has over 70,000 members. They have the man power and motivation to replace them over night. At which point the law says what the fuck they want it to.

What’s stopping them isn’t that they lack the resources to seize total control. It’s that they lack the resources to maintain control. And they’re never going to have them.

By federal marshals who don’t give a fuck. Because they already did it to a state judge, they’ll go after federal next.

They will attempt to downsize and remove seats / eliminate circuits and jurisdictions, then create new ones. Yes that too will be litigated, who knows where it ends, but they will try

I’m sure they’ll just start taking everything to certain judges to get them rubber stamped. We already know there’s one out there who will publicly suck on trump.
