I don’t think so. It didn’t seem like it had an ending. It was multiple interacting stories. Game of thrones was more a battle for the throne. Rome was more the political plays within the world. There wasn’t a constant build of good versus evil that required a conclusion.
In retrospect, they probably would have fucked up the ending if it had one.
