I bought the bike used but the tires it came with are pretty pristine. Would hate to have to buy new ones already. If this becomes a regular occurrence, I might have to swap out at least the tire on the rear wheel though. I might also start carrying a patching kit and one of those electric mini bike pumps in my backpack
Also it looks like local shops don’t stock 26 x 2.0
Those CO2 cannisters are lighter than the pump and can be used in a pinch if necessary.
No need to rush out and get Marathons, but they might be worth getting as your next tyres. Stores can get them in easy if you ask, or keep an eye out online and get some on sale.
I have a more general one that’s a bit big to carry around on a bike, but I have seen those smaller ones from Trek. A lot more expensive than my Xiaomi 1S though

Those battery-powered bike pumps can be really tiny, like less than 200 grams tiny.

On AliExpress they’re 40 bucks or less
