Heterosexual depictions often have more leeway - works by acclaimed Chinese authors, including Nobel Laureate Mo Yan, have graphic sexual scenes, but are widely available.
Presuming this is accurate, the state of Chinese obscenity laws just fucking sucks ass (which I assume is also illegal). It’s the 10 year jail sentences that are the single most awful thing about all of this though. Taking away their earnings or nuking the offending content from the internet is one thing, but imagine putting some 20-year-old in prison until they’re 30 because of some mpreg fanfic they sold as a side hustle

This is basically how I feel about all FFVII media after the original game. Just completely lacking the tone and charm

Wouldn’t have done much better than Spirits Within probably. Both movies are boring, unwatchable garbage

Macroceramics in my bike tiresEnglish3·2 days agoThis time I was left stranded about 10 km from home and I had to walk the bike to a friend’s house. Usually, the punctures I get are so small that the air escapes slowly enough that I can get all the way home only to discover a completely flat tire the next day.
Anyway, I decided to try patching the tube instead of replacing it this time which proved to be much less of a hassle and something that I could do on the road in the future, so it was a valuable experience

Macroceramics in my bike tiresEnglish1·2 days agoThat’s actually not a tire in the photo- it’s the basement floor. I took the picture after digging out the piece of glass out of my tire. My actual tires look pretty similar to this

Those battery-powered bike pumps can be really tiny, like less than 200 grams tiny.

Macroceramics in my bike tiresEnglish2·3 days agoI bought the bike used but the tires it came with are pretty pristine. Would hate to have to buy new ones already. If this becomes a regular occurrence, I might have to swap out at least the tire on the rear wheel though. I might also start carrying a patching kit and one of those electric mini bike pumps in my backpack
Also it looks like local shops don’t stock 26 x 2.0

I just got this bike a few weeks ago

You don’t have a problem with sentencing people to 10 years in prison for writing and selling gay smut?
