For me it’s gotta be HR people. It is likely confirmation bias but most HR goons I’ve met have been the most smug, slimy, and self-satisfied little shits.

    99% of tech. Unlike HR/management, where class betrayal is the job description, tech can be used to do good things. Its just more profitable to build the torment nexus or remake some website 4 times a yeat

      Biased bc I’m in tech but I think only like 80% of tech is on that level. Torment nexus builders, defense contractors, adtech, fintech, and anything involving the blockchain are filed under “decidedly evil”

      Remaking the same website 4 times is like, a waste but no more evil than any other menial job. Some tech jobs are even morally neutral

      You’re right that probably 1% at most are net good though
