    It’s hilarious to think that Chinese high speed rail got its first shot in the arm when General Electric sold their locomotive division to China. US wasn’t doing anything with it, so it probably made sense for the GE shareholders. I rode on a Chinese built high speed train in Laos, something I couldn’t do in the US.

    Omg this is just amazing. I can just imagine some train ride that took like 30 min now raking like 5 or less! Awesome. It’ll be amazing when this is finally implemented. I can see China being the first to achieve traveling at or beyond the speed of light some day, i know sounds make believe, but at this point if anyone can have any hope of pulling it off. It is these gods and goddesses in China!
