3d printed semi-auto 9mm carbine looks very cyberpunk, and is named after the Potoo bird that was a staple meme species.
The gun’s name is a reference to the common potoo, also known as “The Ghost Bird.”
It’s light. Handle’s adjustable for easy carrying, good for righties and lefties. Breaks down into four parts, undetectable by x-ray, ideal for quick, discreet interventions. A word on firepower. Titanium recharger, three thousand round clip with bursts of three to three hundred, and with the Replay button - another Zorg invention - it’s even easier. One shot…
… and whatever you do… DO NOT PUSH THE RED BUTTON.
I’ve always liked FN P90 type designs and the broader PCC/PDW category. In the same drill I’m better with a 9mm handgun than I am with an AR-15, and that handgun is better suited for the actual distance I’d be shooting at if I needed to use it defensively. A PCC would be the best of both worlds.
It looks like the Liberator from Helldivers
I thought that 3d printed guns effectively broke/fell apart after just a few rounds? Or has there been some sort of breakthrough in printing technology since then
The breakthrough is using metal for the bits that take the serious forces, either the unregulated parts of regular guns or commodity hardware
I see. I guess you’d probably need to use something a bit more robust than standard PLA filament though eh?
PETG is about as easy to print as PLA but much less brittle.
where did the fosscad weirdos go after the reddit ban?
They’re here, guncadindex is federated
