Attention Pluribus fans: Season two is in the works but don’t expect The Pitt-level of swiftness in between seasons, per creator Vince Gilligan.
I wouldn’t want him to be as quick, TBH. I loved how naturally and realistically the story developed in Season 1, and I imagine this requires a lot of patience, research, deliberation, and not always settling for the first idea.
I trust him to make the right choices.
The ‘realistic’ part absolutely ruined it for me. It made every scifi element basically require critical analysis over suspension of disbelief for me, and I know a lot of science and tech about a lot of things. It’s all garbage in the show.
While the show was trying to breathe, it had me sitting there going, “why didn’t they realize that sooner?”, “why the fuck did the scientist do that?”, “why are they doing this alone!?”, “that plane requires multiple crew!”, “that’s a terrible way to deal with someone who doesn’t trust you!”, etc, etc… It’s a lot of garbage past the veneer of realism.
