      Always…

Hey OP, do you also think Ukraine, its language, and its culture are Leninist fabrications, to divide the Russian nation in service of the Anglo-Saxon sphere?

What is the lie about Ukraine? The only one I can think of is Trump’s dogged insistence that they started the war by existing.

This is a cross post from .ml so you can pretty safely assume they believe the Russian story about the invasion.

Aren’t Iranian people kind of telling the world what their government is doing?

I kind of think American war pigs are liars but probably not revolting populations of nonsecular countries

Honestly, I support Iran developing nuclear weapons. It would do wonders to stabilize the Middle East. The region is so unstable right now because there’s one regional power with nuclear weapons with no other power to balance them out. It’s similar to how the US repeatedly threatened to nuke other countries in the 1945-1948 period. It was only when the USSR got the bomb that things stabilized. I would prefer no countries have nukes. But the only thing worse than two countries with nuclear weapons is just a single country with nuclear weapons.

And sure, people will hem and haw about Iran being this super unstable country. But that’s what has been said about every single aspiring nuclear power. They said Stalin would start a nuclear war to spread Communism. Then they said the same thing about Mao and the Kims. And people made constant racist insinuations about India and Pakistan, implying that they were too primitive to handle the bomb. They always say that the next guy getting the bomb will be so much more irresponsible than the ones that came before. But in the end, the new nuclear powers behave the same way as the old nuclear powers. MAD works just the same.

They are literally begging the international community for help. If anything, the West is trying to avoid having to act. But when a country is massacring tens of thousands of people and blacking out the internet to cover it up, it’s hard to ignore.

The people of Iran deserve justice.

I’m thinking so too. But my country should probably get our pedophile leadership problems sorted before continuing to do the whole world police thing

The lie about Iran isn’t what the current regime is doing to its own people it’s how, in response to the Iranian government nationalised the largely British owned oil industry, and so the UK and US sponsored a coup to topple the government and installed the Shah.

Although the Shah grew the economy and did a lot of other things to improve the country, the rampant corruption and brutal repression of dissent, including the massacre in Jaleh Square in 1978 (in which the army killed 64 people and injured 200+ others) sparked a nationwide revolution to overthrow the regime.

The largest and most powerful revolutionary faction were the islamicists led by Ruhollah Khomeini, the first Ayatollah.
