They just need the masses to be paralyzed and weakened morally, so they won’t be able to oppose it. Was just talking to my dad about this. Most people would agree that there was a point in German history before 1939 where people would have been justified in shooting at the authorities. But zoom in, and decide which day marked that point, and you’ll have a lot of disagreement.
It’s worth remembering that the nazis sent delegations to the USA to study its race laws and political system.
The USA was the template.
