Laptop feels very responsive since I installed Fedora. Escaped from Win11 were everything felt bloated, clunky, and slow. My idle RAM usage was ~6.9 to 8.9GB on Windows, my current setup on Fedora GNOME runs at ~3.3GB on idle. Total disk usage on Win11 after 3 years was 678GB, then I did a clean wipe, backed up my files and media, installed Fedora 43, restored my files and I’m sitting pretty at 111GB total disk usage. Never going back to Windows at this point

Hey thanks for making a community. Were you aware of !fedora@lemmy.ml?
Of course maybe you think you can run the community better and that’s perfectly fine, but just checking.
No I wasn’t. I’m new to thelemmyclub and could not find a Fedora community to share my experience. Thanks for checking 😊
No problem. You can usually use search by community here (make sure you have All, not Local selected) and go for the biggest one.

Or you can check out https://lemmyverse.net/communities for a better interface - click the home button on the top and set your instance to thelemmy.club and then clicking on a community will take you there on thelemmy.club.
I found it! 😃
