In the bad country, the government subjects its citizens to propaganda while limiting and dirtying the flow of true information about other countries. projection

The country that lets tourists in from all over the world except america doesn’t know other countries exist?

Talking about brainwashing when you’re this brainwashed is wild.

A country can restrict the movements of it’s citizens when they are in other countries? (I guess it could make sense.)

There are def USA tourists that have visited DPRK, even several presidents & celebrities.

They can’t physically prevent people from traveling there, but they can arrest them for it when they get back. The DPRK often won’t stamp western passports for this exact reason.

In the news today was literally an article about the DPRK women’s soccer team winning a match in Parramatta NSW, Australia. What do they tell the athletes, that they’re in the far south reaches of the dmz where anglos still roam free?

Within the Sentinelese islands, and South America and Africa, also in many remote places in Afghanistan and India, there are villages that have never seen the outside world, and they have a villager’s understanding of what goes on in the rest of the world; undeniably they have beliefs about the rest of the world that a lot of folks like us might think are silly.

A lot of people in America (and Western Europe, let’s be real) are basically villagers themselves who can’t fathom what’s truly going on in the rest of the world; the people I mentioned in the beginning however don’t have access to internet, the average American however doesn’t have that excuse.

In those remote villages in Africa you have kids rubbing white people’s skin to see if the whiteness is real, in America the average person is like “And they make the men have the same haircut as the supreme leader, and all the people think the Kims don’t poop, and all the North Koreans think Kim Jong Un is a god, and they build theme parks for photo ops so all of us will like them, and”; it’s like talking to a child but the child is a forty year old man and can vote for who the next globe threatening war criminal is.

Whatever beliefs they have about the rest of the world lead them to shoot missionaries with arrows, so they can’t be too far from the truth.

Yeah, they know enough about the outsider world to know they want nothing to do with it, and they’re real for that tbh

Ironically what’s happening outside looks a lot like what happened to them that led them to shun the outside world

            CW: Epstein level SV

            spoiler

An explorer who went there took some of their kids to his ship and had them strip nude for him to photograph them, and potentially do other awful stuff to them; they also saw their people across their islands catch diseases from these explorers that they were not prepared for and many of them died. So basically Epstein and covid happened to them; seems to line up with the outside world.

The Average USAan considers the first thing they hear on a subject to be the Word of God and immutable

This is why they get mad whenever science updates their understanding of something

Pluto ain’t a planet, dinosaurs had feathers and were probably chunky things, and gender is a spectrum

Gonna give some chud a conniption
