As someone who lives in Minnesota. It’s pretty clear that the government is owned by religious lunatics who are in a death cult. Is the title rage bait?

The content of the post is literally an American acknowledging exactly what the title insists they wouldn’t.

It’s pretty obvious they are trying to turn our western allies against those of us that aren’t the enemy.

A distraction so the oligarchs can do the same thing to Europe when they are done with us.

To answer the question from an autistic’s point of view, I believe that title is meant to be sarcastic. Can someone who understands jokes confirm?

Or is there a complex misunderstanding here involving the poster of the original tweet is now being misunderstood by the Lemmy poster?

      I am now confused.

I concur with the sentiment. We’re not as dumb as they like to treat us. We see the sham system they told us to believe in is all bullshit and we’re just waiting for the right leader to John Connor this situation. Everyone should do whatever actions they are willing to do though to passively or actively resist this bullshit game they are forcing us to play. I didn’t agree to play an unfair game and I refuse to. I retired at 38 instead of buying into this capitalist hellscape funding child torture. But I’m very fortunate I saw a pathway to do that. Most people are just getting choked out with no recourse and it breaks my heart.

These people are the fucking super villains from Captain Planet.

But back to the original comment before I went on my autistic rant…

Yeah, if ANY foreign attack happens to the US right now, I’m going to immediately assume FALSE FLAG OBVIOUSLY BULLSHIT, until someone shows me incontrovertible proof.

Not sure about the title here, Isn’t this a pretty clear example of an american acknowledging the apocalyptic religious pedophiles are the ones at fault?

My take is the tweet says:

“Californian here and I’m telling you right now, I have so little faith in our government that if 9-11 happens again, I’m going to automatically assume FALSE FLAG.”

The Lemmy post title on the other hand:

“Californian is unaware government is run by religious nuts.”

      Or

      They are being sarcastic?

Or I’m just dumb and I can’t figure it out.

The title and the content feel very disconnected. I’m not really sure what point OP is trying to make here, but from all the other people attempting to interpret it, it seems fairly poorly made whatever they were going for.

It’s funny as an autistic person how often I see people having a conversation and I’m over in the corner shaking my head saying, those two people don’t even realize they are talking right past each other, not actually communicating. They may as well keep talking and put ear buds in, the conversation will end up in the same end location with nothing accomplished except a waste of time.

But it’s not like I can go around pointing it out every time I see it, I’d get bored of that once I’ve solved enough communication issues I know I’d just get bored and move on to a new game.

I read it more as expressing concern for the ongoing situation and immediate and future consequences, than something that happened in the past.

I could see the post’s title as a quick interpretation for otherwise but after reading properly yours seems like the intended one.

Mean in the end we should probably have fewer active rapists and pedophiles around in general for an society. Mean we don’t want them in charge of a large military or anything that’d just be silly for that to happen.

For those that are getting help and not engaging in such activities then I don’t mean you.

I get the impression people in the fediverse aren’t aware that people pad their social media posts.

“Americans aren’t ready…” and “as a Californian…” are meaningless statements that just help a post fit into a known meme format rather than having any actual relevance to what’s being stated

The messed up part is the government is going to come up with something big soon to distract people. A major terrorist attack is everything this current administration needs.

*That would actually explain why ONLY California is being warned … preparing-the-ground for a false-flag operation intended to remove anti-fascist elements from the US…

DAMN, I wish I’d seen that basis for the absurd California-only warnings about Iran’s attacking…

    < sigh >

machiavellianism isn’t natural, for some of us, but getting the hang of it … decade by decade …

I swear this story was some Sinclair local media prop to generate support for a war in a state that otherwise would never support it.

Feds warned local police in CA of some intelligence that Iran might try to sail a drone deployment ship off the coast of California to stage an attack in retaliation to a US war.

Is it possible? Sure I can imagine how it would work, it’s just so improbable to do undetected.

As a Californian, shove it with the snark pissbag. Dudes making a statement on how the only start to be warned is ours, while asserting the authority that they infact do live within the state.

Disingenuous actors constantly assert authority without evidence. If you accept their authority uncritically, you are being radicalized.

Dude there are more people in California than any other individual state in the US, it ain’t that hard to believe their claim. Secondly their opinions match up pretty damned well with a lot of Californians, maybe not most but a solid majority hate the feds.

Regardless while I generally agree with your point, it’s largely non-applicable here simply because it’s basically an opinion I’m pretty sure a lot of folks have been thinking. Even if it is intentional propaganda from a malicious source there’s basically nothing to this beyond fuck the feds. Which I’m pretty sure is a widely held opinion in the US.

Their opinion matches up with your opinion, and confirmation bias is giving you quite the emotional reaction.
