Straight guy. Wife and I love Pride events. We’ve never felt unwelcome. Just be cool to everyone.
There are a few in the community who are not inclusive to allies or they suspect ulterior motives. They don’t represent everyone and are best left alone.

Clearly any persistent ordering of the letters shows an implicit bias. The only reasonable thing is to randomize the letters on each use with (at minimum) a cryptographically secure PRNG.
Alternatively just shift the letter each time.
