The price I paid a year and a half ago is about what it still costs today even with the extra miles I’ve put on it.
Same, got an EUV and it’s been a great daily driver, no complaints. It’s a solid car for the price and back when it had tax credits it was a steal. With gas creeping up, it’s almost paying for itself when coupled with home solar.
Not to brag but I love my 2LT too. If people took to heart what a non renewable resource is years ago instead of brushing it off as liberal tree hugging they wouldn’t be getting stuck with the bill at the pump, or obviously worse, killing and sending their kids to be killed in the Middle East.
I have noticed that since it’s at least one of the cheapest EVs and EVs are cheaper to operate, if you see a new car with some advertising wrap, it’s a bolt. Wouldn’t be surprised to see companies get a fleet of them if gas stays high. Which means dealers looking to get some used ones, and more chargers being installed.

The Volt was my first into electric (I realize it isn’t a full EV).
My Bolt was amazing. I loved that vehicle. I went with range anxiety and turns out, there was none.
I’ve had 4 different EVs since and I’m never going back. I don’t remember what oil changes or gas stations are even like.
Nice! Same with my solterra. Although personally, I would like to see them deprecate so more people can afford them.
Im thinking of buying one if any of my cars dies as a used in europe. We didnt have many chevrolet bolts, but there are some.
How many km/miles have you done with it?
Just about 10k miles without any issues, just typical maintenance like tire rotation, car washes (especially after salt in winter). I plan on keeping it as long as I possibly can.
Quick warning that the new Bolts don’t support CarPlay or Android Auto - Chevy makes you pay a subscription fee for similar features.
Look for a used older model if you can.

I’ve done something close to 35k km over 2 something years in a 2023 EV
I sold my 2014 Miata that I loved, but didn’t drive enough to justify keeping it. Turned around and bought a 2017 Bolt with 80k miles on it for $2000 less than I got for the Miata.
I then got $3000 back in tax credits.
Smartest car purchase I’ve ever made. We love this stupid little car and it feels really good to be not directly feeling the gas price hikes.
I recently lost my 2022 Bolt EUV Premier. I had it for about 18 months until someone rear ended it at 45mph and caused it to be totaled. And this was from an uninsured person as well. My insurance and other market research lead to it being worth less than 16k. I was quite disappointed. But it is what it was. I couldn’t find a reason price on a replacement Bolt EUV but I found another car (SUV EV) that fits all the items on my check list. But the Bolt EUV is a great car.
