The nation's paper of record downplayed the 'No Kings" protests while urging Democrats to move toward the center to defeat Trump, all the while ignoring the GOP's attempt to undermine election integrity.

EDITED to note: I did not realize when I posted this that it was actually written in October, 2025 about an older NYT op-ed, because the complaint is exactly the same. Fresh off the NYT article, I happened to see this in the sidebar of the Common Dreams article about Saturday’s (March 28, 2026) protests. My error. Thanks to @AmidFuror@fedia.io in /c/politics for pointing it out.
