I think this is probably the most artistic thing to take place at coachella in years. He came from YouTube. Most of his music and people’s memories of it was experienced through those exact videos. We see him using YouTube just like we did, and the other viral videos he pulls up weren’t just anything, they were period appropriate videos. It made me respect him a lot honestly. It was a very intimate and honest type of performance. He even did a duet with his child self, which is kind of meaningful, it shows how he sings differently now, but still harmonious with his past self. I think it was brilliant, really.
