    Another day, another interview.

Gotta leave for the bus in 2 hours.

    Wish me luck.

Once again, it’s for a place that “hires everybody,” but I’ve come to not take that too seriously.

Interview went well! It was short and simple. The interviewer seemed pleased with my skills and compatibility with the kind of work. I asked like 3 or 4 questions to make it look like I give a fuck about the job beyond just needing a way to earn fucking money and survive.

I do have competition, and at the end of the day, I am still Black and androgynous, so who knows what this will lead to. According to him, I should get an answer by next week.

No expectations, though. I got another interview on Friday, and let’s hope that goes smoothly.

Apparently Billie Elish got hate for saying eating meat is wrong ajd NATO leftists got mad saying it insulted indigenous people and is ableist lmao

I live in a town full of indigenous people, some live traditionally and some don’t. They have vegans too. One of them is an 80 year old woman who goes to a local restaurant for all her meals because of their vegan options. They act like indigenous people spend all their time dancing naked with bears instead of just being people who live like everyone else.

Any liberal white woman saying “The world would be so much better if we lived under a matriarchy!” definitely has a bioessentialist mindset.

  • Fuck you and your taxpayer money, I hope they spend it on drugs mansions and cars in countries across the planet, I hope they shove those “American tax dollars” up your throat until you choke on it. Fool seeing bombs being dropped on kids and thinking “my taxes”.

Applied to a lot of jobs this weekend… already got calls for 3 interviews, 2 of which are virtual. All of these interviews are for positions that claim they are hiring urgently/immediately/quickly or whatever, so let’s hope that leads to something good.

Decided to just block and stop talking to that aforementioned white leftist, by the way.

I’m in a capacity where I have very little room for bullshit, and that includes myopic, self-centered people who don’t have an iota of empathy.

The experience is hellish enough without someone trying to tell me that my inability to escape it is my own fault.

I talked to a native person and asked what they prefer instead of “Native American.” They said they like being called “native,” “first nation,” and “indigenous.” And in Austrailia, you can also call natives “aboriginal.”

    Makes sense.

The place you interviewed at earlier didn’t call you back?

Also that bootstrap protestant work ethic still lingers in so-called “leftists.” Like they’ll say how homelessness is a systemic problem, but then blame individuals for the material conditions that cause people to end up on the street.

This recent interview I did apparently might take up to a week to get back (not counting business days), so that would be on Thursday.

EDIT: Regarding the point about homelessness, this is something I’ve noticed about white leftists, too. They’ll be able to abstractly acknowledge some horrible consequences of our fucked-up capitalist system, such as a Black queer person with no family being unable to find work. They will post a bunch of rubbish on social media about how fucked up this is, but when they actually encounter someone in such a situation in real life, they totally forget about the systemic angle and treat it as a personal failing.

I fear some states in the US like diseases based on the assumption that there’s more gross things about them. I have religious trauma as an ex-Christian, so I never want to go to the Bible belt. California seems nice, except I hope I never see the cursed concentration camp at the border. Is this negative of me in any way? I want people to be safe and some states seem like they have more uncomfortable amounts of danger than others… Including the danger of abandonment, I’m sad each time I remember the US abandoning people to things like a complete lack of clean water and weather disasters. That stuff sounds like being in a version of Silent Hill.

Honestly, I think the main themes here are that I hate abusive control and neglect.

    Say it loud!

(Took this concept from a tweet) Black excellence is neoliberal BS to get us to ignore capitalist imperialism in favor of liberal democracy. I reject Black excellence, my ancestors had Black power and Black pride, and that’s what I’ll have.
