I promise I do try not to be.

I find most strangers annoying tbh.

…Actually on second thought I don’t. I’m apathetic towards most strangers as… Well they’re strangers, and they’re off doing their own thing. Perfectly fine interacting with most strangers too.

I do judge people lol. I walk to/from home which involves going through a four way intersection with the default fast food option (McDonalds) right on the one corner.

Whenever someone pulls in/out while I’m walk though I often (silently) remark something along the lines of “Oh of course! Gotta get that bland fast food! Having an original thought? Never heard of her. Is she hot?”

Agreed. The self-talk is much worse than the actual comments I get from people (those suck too). People are alienated and lashing out at anything that provokes discomfort. It isn’t you (OP), it’s our social circumstances 🫂

There have been people who expressed astonishment when I told them I was neurodivergent, because they hadn’t found me annoying (interpreting their usually more polite wording). But it’s the same insult from a different angle.

    I am annoying.

I don’t care about being annoying anymore, since I’m annoying no matter what I do.

Same here, public opinion has zero sway on how I behave anymore.

Even threats of being fired, or attacked have zero effect.
