    Feels like they spent half the season glazing frenchie (the half that wasn’t promoting the mid as fuck spinoff nobody asked for) and I honestly think they deliberately did this as retaliation against fans who rightly called out the show’s hypocrisy having an IOF war criminal in the main cast

    His line about dancing to homelander right before his long winded death scene really reminded me of some of the most cringe zionist propaganda after oct 7th when they were all saying shit like “we will dance again”

      While they’re canceling their other spinoff, the characters of which basically showed up to be told to go home

      I assume they didn’t want to have to answer the question of “what do you mean she’s as strong as homelander” (esp when they can’t choreograph a fight scene so you don’t end up thinking “wow they’re really kicking the shit out of homelander why didn’t they just like idk, do that”)

    In the comics he only mention becca, but its because after homelander he has a evil arc where he turns on the boys because he wants to genocide all the supers and kills all the members but hughie

      yeah I know! and I said in another comment that I think if they were gonna do this radiation blast shit to kill homelander, they should have just done that in season 3 and been done with him, season 4 and 5 dealing with Other Supes and then Butcher. It’d have just been… way better, imo, because, and I think the vast majority will agree, it just feels like we’ve all been jerked around and jerked off for an unsatisfying climax, with how they’ve done it

            I like the first 2 season and i find solder boy really funny but he is a nothing character just like sage, they dont do much even when they are supposed to be main antagonists of their seasons.

            So all you are left with Homelander who i like his stuff and the deep who is a joke character as antagonists.

            Maybe they should have gave the first 2 more stuff to do and have homelander in the backseat for a bit, maybe do the Russia arc with love sausage or something else because the 3 last season are very aimless for most of their runtimes

            Also really sucks they decided to kill off GenV because it had potential
