A reminder of why it is stupid for governments to name things after people. It costs $1 million to change the signage to that person’s name. Then another million to change it back when you later decide that person is problematic.

    It’s wild you think it’s a flat rate…

    But yeah, shouldn’t name streets after someone till they’re long gone and there’s no more skeletons in their closet

      I’ll try to remember that the next time we have to change the signage on something named after a civil war Confederate.
