Bought two Pi 5 8GB RAM on the announcement day (September 28 2023), paid $112 Canadian each. Missed the entire 4 series due to shortages, covid and such so it was time to upgrade my aging (but still functional) 3s. $350 US is an absolute insanity.
When do we get a board with a SODIMM memory slot instead of soldered RAM?
Keep in mind their cpu needs to support socketed ram and im not sure if the ones they use do, arm cpus generally dont support socketed ram.
I assume they are not selling any if then?
