Yes, I want to become the living, breathing version of that character and I get euphoria acting like them. If you’re just going to be rude about it, though, do not ask me anything. Only ask if you’re genuinely curious.
Well, I mean … the one obvious question: Which fictional character?
Well, two. Matt from Eddsworld was the first one, lately it’s strongly been Tord.
No, just because they’re BASED on real people doesn’t mean they ARE the real people themselves, and I don’t identify as real people.
What do you HATE to eat?
Ahhhhhh, maybe some kind of fish??? Or like bitter olives.
What is your biggest fear when thinking about transitioning to said character?
Not being accepted by people who love me. Of course, there’s two things about it: 1) “You will never be a man, why bother transitioning?” then there’s 2) “You won’t only not be a man, but you’ll never be that character because he’s a drawing”.
I do love my grandparents and everything they do for me, but I know for a fact they would think I was mentally ill for being transgender and fictionkin.
I don’t think your crazy. I believe in the world is what you make it and goals are subjective. They are your prerogative. And that is valid.
Thank you :)
does the character that you inhabit match your gender?
he does now. i used to be a woman but im ftm now and he’s male (just not trans) so yeah…
What do you think of terms like “fictionkin” and “copinglink”? (Have you heard of those terms?)
I think they fit me really well, to be completely honest, especially fictionkin. I identify with that.
