Context: history memes are often posted without context and so people don’t get a chance to immediately learn the history behind the meme.

Genuinely starting to think this is just a bot account, it doesn’t provide context because it has no means of knowing the context.
It pulls images and titles from Reddit (or elsewhere) and is spitting it back out at us.
Just curious, do y’all not see this account tagged as a bot account? It might just be the app I’m using or maybe a Piefed feature, but I see a little purple robot head that tags accounts as bots.

The fact that this meme is obviously from R*ddit (notice
r/historymemesinstead of!historymemes) is a clue.
