    good news, but it would have been a lot more beneficial if insurance companies were actually held to account.

    still good people god some debt reduction though

      I appreciate this, but am also feeling cynical about it as the California wealth tax is on the ballot this November, and would affect exactly billionaires like him.

      I expect more “multi million I.e 2+ million” giving for PR reasons instead of the 10 million tax that his 2 billion would face at the proposed 5% rate. Things like this make it seem like billionaires are so philanthropic that no tax is required from the “big, bad government.”

        My thought is its to bad they get behind vs their peers because they did it but the others did not and it would be great to collect taxes to have a nice society in general. healthcare, education, no one without food and shelter.
