This isn’t just a CDU/CSU thing: the entire political class in Germany bar Die Linke unconditionally supported these Genociders and were very overtly about it being because of their ethnicity.

If the aggressor’s ethnicity is enough in one’s mind to make their mass murdering of children (the list of babies one year old or younger confirmed killed already after the first 3 months of the Israeli attacks in Gaza is 17 pages long) be totally acceptable and have no impact whatsoever on one’s support for such an aggressor, then one is an Extreme Racist, so this revealed that even Die Grünen are Racist as fuck.

From the outside it looks a lot like a core element in the foundational thinking of most politics in Germany is still the very same “people’s worth is determined above all by their race” from the “good” old days.

Certainly the theory that just the surface layer of the National Socialist Party of the German Worker’s ideology was scrapped away and the ways of looking at other people that were core foundations of that ideology remained pretty much untouched, explains A LOT of things, not just the justifying of unwavering support for Genociders with their ethnicity and the ethnicity of the people they are mass murdering, but also how stupidly easy it was for AfD to rise and all manner of autoritarian, Macht macht Recht, measures in Germany right now to stop dissenting from Government policy.

I really hope that most of the political parties in Germany are crushed in the next election by how all this made so painfully clear that they still hold 19th century views on people and race but, frankly, I doubt it.

As a fellow European I’m seriously concerned about what all this revealed: that Germany’s distancing from its old ways was more a change of image than a change of principles - laws against swasticas or zieg heilen right next to very openly treating murderous mass violence against civilians as perfectly fine when it’s those of an ethnicity deemed “good” doing it to those of an ethnicity deemed “bad”.

Can they really not understand that I don’t don’t give a shit about their race or religion, but I hate their blood lust and ethnic cleansing. You’re not evil because you’re Jewish, you’re evil because you think all Muslims near you should be bombed for existing

Zionists love to hide behind the ideology that they represent all jewish people. Any attack on themselves is deflected in this way.

“Curiously”, the NAZIs did exactly the same thing only they claimed to represent the Arian People and that any criticism of them was an attack on the Arian People.

Hmm… so in his mind, killing children to occupy land by force because of their stupid religion doesn’t “foment hate”? Hmm…

Calling someone’s religion “stupid” and blaming that religion for a war on the other side of the world is fomenting hate.

What is it with people on this site always wanting to make lists of people that upset them?

Oh, some of us just want to be aware that some people keep saying the same stupid shit but try to mask it at first. To not fall for the trap of a lengthy debate we just add a tag to your accounts and be done with you - until you show a different behaviour.

So you’re not bothered by the idea of tesseract, only upset by who was being targeted?

No you get it wrong. If you as a user tag people with a description of their behaviour as you have observed, then that is on you to do. Nobody is saying anything about that, because it has no sway nor effect on any other user nor the fediverse in general. If a mod has a shadow-ban list or something that affects all users due to one person targeting others. That is fundamentally different.

You can dislike a friend of your friends. You should not make attempts to limit that persok from interacting with your friends just because you dislike him
