Damn, you know what else: trump is in the Epstein files more than god is in the Bible. Crazy.

Trump triggered the Iran war to distract from the epstein files, but has not wasted any time using it to manipulate the market to himself and his benefactors benefit.

After the news that Trump is just handing Saudi Arabia a nuclear program there is no way Iran is ever going to abandon theirs.

The Iran government are wold-class-bastards and thinking that they’re one iota more trustworthy than Washington or Tel Aviv is madness. If they’re telling the truth, that’s incidental to the truth serving their momentary interest.

If Tehran says water is wet, the sky is blue, or Trump is lying, it’s worthwhile to double-check

True. But are they one iota less trustworthy?

I feel like they’re all about the same.

During the first term, I remember saying to someone: “never thought I’d say this, but right now I trust NK state media more than the president”

Right now, I trust Iranian state media more than the president.

During this war statements from the Iranian government have generally been true, especially if compared to the waves of self-contradictory bullshit flowing from the US. Of course during a war no side will be completely honest and open about everything, but Iran has been more trustworthy than the west so far.

Man, that’s what happens when you straight up kill top government officials: you have no one reliable to negotiate a piece. Putin knows it. Zelenskiy knows it. Why the fuck Trump didn’t know that?

I would say you’re in the right track but wrong direction: it’s more that people who kill government officials mid-negotiation and do not at all abide by what they’ve agreed with in the past, aren’t seen as reliable to negotiate with.

So it’s not that they can’t on the Iranian side after the US killed government officials find somebody who is “reliable to negotiate a piece”, it’s the other way around: nobody on the Iranian side now believes that the US with a Trump Administration is “reliable to negotiate a piece” with.
