sometimes i think the only reason theres so much media where the protagonist chooses not to take their revenge at the last second is because the capitalists know how fucking evil they are and want to brainwash everyone into thinking they shouldnt take revenge on them. but a lot of times revenge is the only justice we will ever get, and the only thing stopping evil people from being worse.

I once told my therapist about a fantasy of exposing my ex on the cheating they did while at work and potentially getting them fired in the process. My therapist had to pause and say that’s a healthy way to feel about the situation but please don’t do that. I didn’t end up doing it but still think about it.
Sometimes we have to write fanfic about our own lives just to stay sane (as long as it only lives in our journals/wattpads/etc).
