I visited a website for a brick-and-mortar store and found that they have ~23 different scripts from ~23 different companies and it’s even more when I try to guess which ones I need just to check the price of something. I’m guessing they pay >30 different companies to run their website. -_-

It’s getting ridiculous. I’ve also noticed that a wave of sites recently added a set of scripts that, if not handled just right, will keep cycling through resets and error messages, whilst teasingly allowing glimpses of the actual news / article page. Reader mode doesn’t work, unfortunately.
I’ve seen the browser block 50 or more connections on sites I’ve visited.
