The Algorithm fed me these guys recently and I found this full show on the YouTubes. A couple of French Canadians with weird costumes and a loop pedal. Brilliant stuff.
Good fucking god, this is what I tried so hard (and failed) to get tickets to.
My vinyls will have to suffice. :(
I saw them at the Montreal Jazz Fest. They put on a good show, a bit heavier than the album recording, and they really had the crowd going.
It was a crowd of about 200k people. It was nuts
Great show. Huge crowd. A couple of years ago they were on every other flyer playing with bands I like but never caught them. Too bad, I bet they tore it up in a small venue.
Sold out in Atlanta 6 months in advance in one day.
If they ever come to Brisbane I’ll be there.
I also failed.

The video of their KEXP performance has the best comment section on YouTube.
Could you post a link, please?
Great blessings be upon you.
When they announce a world tour, I hope they clarify which world
I started to transcribe the tab of this for guitar but i started getting a metallic taste in my mouth and woke up in the middle of a corn field in 1947
LOL. Does not disappoint.
As it happens, there are actually transcriptions of their tracks, by Stephen Weigel: ‘Sarniezz’ and ‘Mata Zyklek’. Also ‘Angine de Poitrine’s Math Rhythms Explained’ and ‘How Angine de Poitrine use Microtonality’ are helpful in understanding their approach.
1947
I guess the year isn’t chosen randomly.
