There’s a whole long stretch of American history when the typical American was hyper-literate when it came to the Bible, and back then the typical American was also super-antisemitic. So if anything, biblical literacy correlates with Americans not being supportive of jews.

KKKri$$tian support for the Zionist entity is not support of Jews. KKKri$$tian Zionists support the Zionist entity because they believe that it will cause the apocalypse, which they believe is a good thing.

But there wasn’t a mass support for an Israeli state in ye olden days America. The apocalyptic vision was drummed up in service of the imperialism, not the other way around.

Especially against enemies of Yahweh and his chosen peoples.

He’ll literally obliterate an entire city and everyone in it because it’s unwelcoming and full of sinners. But he’ll also have his people slaughter and genocide all the males down to every child boy but keep the girls and women alive to SA and “enjoy” as their reward.

In this sense the zionist entity is quite biblical. The only thing you could say against it would maybe be it was done by the hand of man and the bible can be read to say it must be the hand of god that restores and therefore for that specific reason of the UN and the US and Europe bringing it about it is heresy. But the genocide, the atrocities, all perfectly biblical and acceptable as they are carried out on heretical non-Jew, non-Christians. Some anti-zionist orthodox Jews take the line of its creation and means of creation being heretical along this line of reasoning and certain other things like trying to create the red heifer of the apocalypse using genetic engineering one could argue are heretical but not the atrocities.

if one of your references is to sodom, then “unwelcoming” means a crowd wanted to gangbang some angels and wouldn’t accept a guy’s daughters as substitutes. the latter offer being presented as virtuous.

in another case i recall he orders annihilation of some group and punishes them for sparing some women and children. the terms of divinely ordained genocide are really all over the place.

“Unwelcoming” is a severe understatement, but really all you really need to say if you’re bringing up Bible stories is that He flooded the world and killed virtually everything. There are also other instances of city-leveling that was ordered by God rather than done by Him directly.

  • mike huckabee clearly read Revelations and decided he wants to help the “cool dragon devour that annoying baby about to be born” and “maybe get to wear some cool golden horns of power” and help “sweep a third of the stars from heaven”.

The bible consists of many books written by many authors over the span of many generations. If you want to you can find scripture to support almost any political position. People who point at the bible to justify their opinions are therefore deeply unserious and both biblically and politically illiterate.
