Donald Trump is accused of raping a former Miss Switzerland in a report probing the president’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein released by House of Representatives Democrats this week.

Beatrice Keul, a retired model and beauty pageant contestant, told the House Judiciary Committee about an incident alleged to have taken place at New York’s Plaza Hotel in 1993. The report, released a week ahead of the midterm elections, also summarizes previously reported allegations from four other women against Trump.

The White House has strongly denied all of the reports’ claims, accusing “crazed” Democrats of “a desperate attempt to distract Americans” and insisting that the president has been “fully exonerated of anything related to Epstein.”

Keul previously claimed in October 2024 that Trump had sexually assaulted her at a beauty pageant staged at the Plaza Hotel, which Trump then owned.

“The president may have raped someone, but we need to double down on the made up rape threat that transgender people pose to women!”

-Republicans, demonstrably.

He’s raped so many women. It really makes you wonder if vigilante justice has a bad wrap. All those relatives with a grudge and not a single one managed to get justice.

Our legal system has utterly failed each and every person who has tried to get simple justice when the accused are wealthy. Its systematically broken, exactly like pre french revolution times.

    “Democrats’ Epstein report”

And that’s how they plan on denying the entire conspiracy.

Voting. Volunteering for campaigns. Donating to the candidates that would progress things in this country. Helping out in my community. Teaching friends/family skills to help them be less dependent on capitalism. A few protests over the years. Teaching my children empathy and critical thinking…

Tell me what you’ve done, aside from trotting out the same tired “both sides” bullshit that trolls run every election cycle to try to convince people that voting does nothing. (If voting didn’t work then authoritarians wouldn’t try so hard to suppress it.)

No matter what I tell you I’ve done, you’ll tell me I’m bad. This is why America is dead in a week. I mean, they’ll keep the lights on because it still makes a profit and it’s a hilarious shit show from the outside.

Saying that gets a weird amount of pushback. It’s obvious the democratic leadership are not even trying to fight the republicans at this point.

Not the OP, but I’ve said this on other threads:

Democrats, specifically those who have something to lose, need to start getting skin in the game.

I would LOVE to see Obama start community organizing again, using his influence and his ability to fundraise to stand-up grass-roots “let’s arm liberals and teach them how to shoot” groups.

I’d love to see Bernie protesting again and getting arrested.

I want to see Schumer do literally anything but look down his glasses and use words.

The problem is that everyone I’ve listed doesn’t want to lose the seat of privilege they sit on. And until they are willing to actually willing to lose, us 99%ers are just going to have to hope that another Luigi happens.

Anything at this point really. What they’ve done to combat the fascists, is stay completely silent, sometimes holding stupid signs while sitting still.

My question to you is, what have they actually even tried to do?

That’s not how this works. LIST what you’d have them do. I asked first.

How about showing up to any of the protests that have been held? How about arranging protests themselves? How about not voting for Trump’s economic policies? They could’ve done literally anything about the Epstein files during Biden’s term. Right now, this second, they could be going on every single news outlet, and talk about what republicans are doing.

Instead they’re fighting every single person trying to do this.

Edit. Supporting unions by going from company to company, teaching workers how to unionize, helping them set up the framework needed to secure rights through massive strikes.

                • Protests don’t change shit
                • Arranging protests doesn’t do shit
                • Point given, however they don’t vote a a whole, so while a select few have, not all have
                • Biden’s admin was in the past. This cannot be changed
                • Talking about it does nothing

You see, NONE of this is meaningful action. None of it changes what is being done currently. And none of it stops it. They are as powerless as you are.

Just sit and watch it burn bud. There is nothing anyone can do. No help is coming.

And you can call this defeatist if you wish, but it comes from a place of observance: and that observation?

No one is willing to do any form of MEANINGFUL protest. Want to yell in the streets? Be my guest. See how far that moves the needle. They don’t care what you want, how many of you want it, or how loud you can shout it.

Want to actually stop shit and send a message?

                Stop paying your taxes.

If everyone did this, the MAGA admin would have trump drawn and quartered on the Shite House lawn. But no. That comes at a sacrifice. And no American is willing to do this. You see, people here are only willing to stand up if it doesn’t cost them anything. Protests are done as a result of convenience. They are NOT a meaningful proclamation. Nothing chances because a Few tens of thousands gather together to shout “we don’t like this!” in the streets. Nothing has EVER changed because of this.

Look at France. They know how to protest. Yet here, we whine because the democrats won’t do anything. My friend, they CANNOT do anything. YOU can though.

So, either shit or get of the pot. But whining about how the democrats won’t do a thing and then listing things that won’t do anything isn’t the argument you think it is. And before anyone says shit about put up or shut up, I haven’t paid my taxes during any of the trump administrations. Not a fucking DIME.

No taxation without representation actually means something to me.

No one in the USA wants to come to the realization that USA is basically a theme park for the rich at this point and nothing they do matters because they are only given the illusion of choice.
