Didn’t even know it was Halloween until I saw the date on the phone a few hours ago. Not feeling very festive this year.

Not too bad! My urologist was recommended by my primary care doctor and he’s highly rated. I’ve read stories about guys who had no pain or swelling whatsoever during their recovery, so fingers crossed for that experience!

Dressing up as a pirate to hand out full size candy bars to the 10-15 kids in the cul de sac as they walk by to the massive block party down the hill. Booze, seltzer, and possibly 420 drinks for the parents.
Then walking down to said massive block party for shots, stone fired pizza (if the lines not too long), and watch as hundreds of children go insane over the decorations and candy.
The block party is legit massive! It’s sidewalk to sidewalk of people in the street for a quarter mile. Sometimes it’s really nice living near rich folks!

It helps to live on a dead end street with a steep hill so no one wants to come up lol Plus, all the kids know about the block party, so everyone goes there. I might as well join them!
We recently moved in a new city, so we’ve got some candy just in case random kids do show up. But I doubt there will be that many of them: kids were not that much keen on Halloween in our previous place, I see no reason for this to change.
… and if they don’t show up, my spouse and I made sure to pick the types of candy we would be willing to eat too ;)
Staying home and hanging out candy this year.
Tomorrow I’m staying home, dressing up to hand out candy, watching horror movies, enjoying a beverage.

Headed to a house party. I tossed the pumpkin seeds from our jack o’lanterns in the lees from my latest fermented hot sauce and roasted them, so I’m bringing those to share, plus some pumpkin beers. Still gotta figure out a costume, though.

well all october I tend to favor horror media. I have the last episode of carrie to watch between today and tommorrow. Will likely play some sort of horror in the background all day tommorrow but like right now I have night of demons playing (OMS so aweful and 80’s). Really just that and feeling the vibe. Moon is waning but has been nicely visible in the sky lately. Oh was going to wear a mask all day just to help with some holloween things.

Nah. My neighborhood isn’t one for trick or treaters (nobody decorates) and most people around here do stuff with their church, or “trunk or treat” events. If we had people coming through, I’d be the one handing out the good shit though.
Giving out toys and stickers instead of candy bc idk how many to expect, and at least these will still be good next year. That or at least I can mail them to all my friends 😂🤷🏻♀️

Then next weekend my friends/ex-roommates are having a costume party. I’m going as a glam witch because a guy gave me a bright pink wig at a music festival this summer. I haven’t dressed femme around strangers/acquaintances since I moved back home!
BF’s friend is throwing a halloween party that I cannot get out of.
But also, I’m going to both a play and a musical. I normally wouldn’t want to do both, but I won the ticket lottery for the musical.
