    Walmart has been made to pay $1.5B in fines for wage theft since 2000. That’s obviously not encompassing all that was stolen. Additionally, many workers are so underpaid that they require public assistance. It’s not “taking” their money, it’s recovering it.

      They also get reimbursed for the amount of people they have on assistance. With no requirements to ensure they get off assistance. They give you the welfare forms right after they hire you and help you fill them out.
