Well, it’s pretty good to not have to go to Reddit to comment on a post. Similarly, I’m considering looking for a way to bridge some of the subreddits I made with their PieFed counterparts (or, preferrably, my instance counterparts when I make one) so that posts and comments from Reddit are automatically bridged over to fedi, and maybe vice versa as well.

Nah, they’ll just add diary features to big tech apps and most people will end up giving out their data willingly.

They would definitely stoop this low if they wanted to, but efficiency-wise and given how they currently operate, it doesn’t make sense.

I’m doing well enough, can’t complain.

But I can tell more and more people aren’t doing well, and I want to do something about it.
