    To be fair, he did start out not wanting to be the The Emissary.

    But you know, when god-like aliens keep making you their emissary, eventually you’re going to say, “okay, I’m The Emissary.”

      He never had a choice. The Prophets mind controlled his mom into having sex with his dad so he would be born.

        Eh, I think he had a choice. There were even cases where the Prophets provided a substitute. The problem was that he saw the burden to be better borne by him.

        True, but he wasn’t aware of that when it started. It took him quite some time to stop calling them “wormhole aliens” and start calling them “prophets.”
