Prime example of the everyone has a job fallacy, i am not sure what you can trust such people to do that wouldn’t endanger others…

Yep, I’ve been saying this forever. If you force the incompetent to work too, you’re just making things harder for the rest of us. Just pay them to sit at home and smoke weed.

I dislike the association of smoking weed with incompetence. I’ve smoked every day for the past 15 years and have been just as much as a productive member of society as the next guy and excel at my job. That stigma hurts.

I’m not saying the weed smoking causes incompetence, I’m saying we shouldn’t be forcing people into the job market that don’t want to / shouldn’t be there, and they should be free to do what they want in that unproductive time, whether that’s watching TV, writing, painting, shit posting, raising kids or smoking weed (or any combination of those things). I used this example exactly because of the stigma conservatives put on the ‘dole bludger’ or whatever they call them.

Yeah, that’s not an awesome idea. They’d be better off picking tomatoes or something.

Of course universal income is a must, you can’t have people who can’t feed/house themselves. Recepie for disaster.

Stupid shit happens at all places. I work overnight stocking at a grocery store, boy do i not want to buy any fridge food from there, they just leave shit out for hours and then act like im crazy when i bring up the temperature of everything.

I cook most of my food myself. Once every couple weeks I might go to a restaurant. Fortunately, I know where my mops have been when I hold em over my food.

I always think about whether they spit or not into the stuff but then oh fuck it I am hungry I won’t feel it anyway and I am bisexual. I have ate much worse things

But that kinda makes me wonder about how society is built on trust and how fragile that situation is. One person like me adding shit to your food for giggles and everything collapses. A sunny day turns into a horror

So the reality is if you’re not a complete cockweed, food workers mostly don’t give enough of a shit to spit in your food.

The bisexual comment made me chuckle, cause same

When I worked in restaurants, I’d curse every 5 seconds if you pissed me off(I was in BoH), but I’d make your food right.

Tongue in cheek quoting Hannibal lecter: “I’d never do that to the food”

      What?!

There is a major chance this contaminates the food. It is very likely that this thing is still dripping unless it was 100% perfectly wrung out, which I doubt, especially since the person using it was dumb enough to hold it above food. There’s also the mentioned particulate falling off, which is pretty much a given if you’re ever seen a McDonald’s floor. Not to mention who knows what that mop was used for- an overflowing toilet in the bathroom, garbage water from a leaky trash bag, dog poop dragged in from someone’s shoe.

I have mopped floors of restaurants. They are disgusting. And they most certainly do not use > good> mops. Restaurants cut corners wherever possible.
