Amazon has announced an original live-action series for Prime Video based on Sega’s successful Like a Dragon game series, previously known as Yakuza. Loosely based on the original Yakuza, it will run six episodes and begin airing in October 2024.

It says a loose adaptation of of the First entry of the series, so that may not be a good sign, but who knows. However I’m of course hoping for Majima Everywhere to be in every episode, which would sell it for me. majima-everywhere
