Header template. I know there exists an ongoing form of this in other social media, but given the 900+ hours of Trek media, I figure we can carve out our own niche.
The giant display on the back of the bridge reflected everything… including cameras and stage lights. So in certain shots, they would tape black construction paper in key places on the display to obscure the reflection. On 19” CRT TVs, you really couldn’t tell. In HD, it’s painfully obvious.
That never occurred to me! A clever trick that certainly worked at the time.
