The key is to have joy in your heart. So you can enjoy anything, even if you don’t understand any of it. I have only seen The Orville, DISCO, SNW, and Lower Decks. The crews of Voyager and DS9 seem like lunatics based on what I’ve seen of them here. I appreciate that. Now, as Janeway famously says “Where is the damn coffee?”

Every meme inches me closer to the idea of subscribing to Paramount+ so I can watch/rewatch Star Trek shows to better understand these memes. DS9 and Voyager especially.

    Bastards. 😒 🤣

Yaknow, . . . my brother Rom may be an idiot but he knows where to get the isolinear rods so you can watch all those for free. Of course my services in this matter would still need compensation. Not much, just a few strips of latinum.

I kept subscribed to netflix for at least a year or two just so I could rewatch oldtrek (they are on netflix in germany).

I then decided I should just make a personal library instead and save all that money

I’m an old fart with DirecTV, and Channel 20 (MeTV) airs DS9, TNG, Voyager, Original Recipe, and Enterprise into the night, every night. I’m not all caught up yet but I’m getting more of the memes!

Personally, I’ve watched some Trek when I was younger and loved it … but it was only about the 2000s that I rewatched all of TNG, later watched all of Voyager … and now I’m in the middle of watching DS9 … and my wife and I are slowly working our way through The Original Series (it’s the only Trek she’ll watch) … and even with all that I’ve watched, I still feel like I don’t know as much as most hard core Trek fans

Someone has calculated how many hours it would take to watch every Trek movie and series … it’s a month of non stop Trek! …

Every series and movie combined totals 837.5 hours, meaning it will take 34.9 days to watch them all uninterrupted.

      https://www.cbr.com/star-trek-every-tv-episode-movie/

… as much as I’ve watched, I think I’m probably at about 6-7 days of Trek so far … some hard core fans have seen all of it … multiple times!

You could sail the high seas for a day or two and you would be able to download all shows and movies on your HD, after that just dispose of the ship.

You would have to live traveling the ocean though, if you also want to keep up with the current shows.

Or wait until a good chunk of shows are done or have enough seasons, so that a quick sailing would bring home a good bounty.

I myself have never sailed or written the comment you just finished reading.

my source of Star Trek information : watching random episodes on BBC2 over 20 years ago.

my wife started listeing to a podcast about TNG,and she’s starting to go through the episodes one by one. by the end of it, despite it forming a bigger part of my identity, she’s going to know more about star trek than me
