I wonder how long before blue states decide to stop paying federal taxes. California basically funds like twelve red states, alone.

I wonder if even some red states would stop paying as a result. I can’t imagine Ohio and Pennsylvania being ecstatic about propping up the Mississipi, Alabama, etc. after California, Illinois, etc. stop footing the bill.

I thought this was the very thing the GOP said the Executive Branch can’t do when they blocked student loan forgiveness.

“Some GOP senators who voted for the bipartisan infrastructure law said they hope Trump’s action wouldn’t stop the flow of infrastructure money to their states and local communities.”

American GOP senators: “So like, yeah, fuck the blue states. They can definitely go fuck themselves. My state though, we’re TrUe PaTrIoTs so we deserve the money.”

Some said it also implies that Trump, who has threatened to defy decades of accepted law by blocking congressionally approved spending, could go even further — by refusing to honor contracts in which the federal government promised funding for states, cities and other recipients.

Who knew that this guy, who left campaign bills unpaid all over the country, would refuse to pay the government’s bills?

Isn’t this just going to impact the US credit rating, leading to higher borrowing costs and enormous inflation spikes?

I’m having trouble seeing this as anything other than burning dollars to look for pennies.

Oh, and taking over Congress’ role over the U.S. Government pursestrings.

Then it’s a win for conservatives. They burn dollars, we get pennies. And he has to scrounge up the billions needed for his mass deportation scheme which would probably impact labor for some of the projects so another win. No bitching about a missing labor force due to mass deportations.

Big double awesome bacon cheeseburger AR15 American flag win for conservatives…^if ^you ^squint ^really ^hard.
