This is really pretty amazing how poorly designed the Tesla doors are, where if the power fails (like in a crash or a fire), you might need to remove the speaker grill or two separate panels to get to the emergency mechanical door release.

Like, how hasn’t this been recalled already?

    Probably because they won’t recall until forced to hy regulators which is not happening.

    Some of the stories of people dying in their teslas are horrifying. The woman who drowned in a relatively shallow pond despite numerous people being on scene trying to rescue her for example.

    I won’t get into a Tesla.

    I heard E-Loon has a button he can press to lock the doors and short the battery starting a fire remotely.

      Because they might need to. They might be upside-down and in pitch darkness when they do it, too.
