How the fuck is that even possible?
Third-party sellers of ebooks are sold licenses to distribute a certain number of ebooks. The same is true of libraries. They purchase the right to lend out, say, three copies of an ebook, and the library’s app has a function to automatically delete an ebook after your borrowing period is up.
