its kinda funny my wife has no issue with margherita but you get a standard pepporoni and all of them have to be perfectly evenly spaced.

More appealing doesn’t mean better overall. Also, there is a tonn of different pizza styles. To have a fair comparison you need to compare similar pizzas, not different. Here it is like comparing a Husky and Labrador dogs with both grown in different locations, while you should compare 1 dog breed grown in different locations.

I tried pizzas from a few countries and didn’t find Italian pizza very appealing, it is basically just dough with tomato sauce

Yeah fuck that; I need a metric assload of mozzarella or it’s not a pizza as far as I’m concerned. Toss on an extra heaping of ricotta, pile on the toppings, and I’m in heaven.

All American food tastes like Monsanto. The quality of Italian food is objectively better.

Maybe when you live in a state that can only grow corn. But if you live in a place that can and does grow everything, and then are served food grown withing a few hours drive from where it was harvested, you wouldn’t be saying such ridiculous nonsense.

An oil drizzle around the edge of the crust fries and browns the crust on typical American pizzas. Also wood fired ovens can cause a grey crust
