These articles are always funny, they’re always like “don’t panic buy, don’t panic buy, it’s fine, we have weeks of oil stocked up!” and then the next section is about how oil prices continue to rise faster and faster with no sign of stopping.
And of course it includes a little section at the start with a “Don’t worry, Russia and China are hurting from this too, the bad guy countries are suffering too, which makes you not being able to afford to live completely worth it.”
If it was at least true. Meanwhile, Russia is probably the biggest economic winner in the situation, and China still sees its oil flowing through the strait.
The problem is obviously that everyone is individually choosing to panic buy in response to conditions that warrant panic buying. You fools, we have weeks with of stocks. WEEKS!
