        I think about half of the posts I have seen since America started bombing Iran have been blatantly fake with the entire comment section just thoughtlessly taking them at face value. Really awful stuff, honestly. It’s been decently common before, but it’s getting close to as bad as on the nazi side of the internet now.

          My inner chud loves these posts - knowing full well they’re fake.

          It’s good fun after years of seething.

          I thought the world turned it’s back on Palestine and that everyone would ignore the slow genocide. And then Oct 7th happened, and I knew that it would be replaced with a fast genocide the world couldn’t ignore.

          I appreciated and admired the Palestinian resistance’s strategy. But watched as the shift in opinion didn’t amount to direct action - except in the UK by limited numbers of people.

          I’ve been burnt out for a decade now.

          Years of seething. Now I get to have my fun. Realist optimism fills the air, and memes and humour come out. Not dark humour to placate the negative emotions.
