I remember panning these guys when they were a grubby skate punk band before I had any idea what a fucking garbage lib I was. They sounded like they were recorded in a bathroom but they were right.
Do you mean their pre-Fat demos or the Recess EPs? Because everything they’ve made with Fat and Epitaph has had really tight production. Too clean even.
I was thinking of less talk more rock but then again I first listened to it as a terrible quality mp3
I was going to say How To Clean Everything and that album had bad production, but quickly listening to them again, they sound much better than I remembered.
