What the actual fuck are they even doing? Feels like they’ve just been doubling the price of everything every 6 months on a whim. Why are micro SD cards so damn expensive now?

This is Australian prices, and it’s from JBHiFi which is our largest and pretty much only electronics store. Amazon have them for about 100-200 cheaper (still too damn expensive IMO), I looked at JB because because I didn’t want to wait for shipping but holy hell I am not paying that much.

(Sorry if you’re Australian and I’m explaining stuff you already know I forget where most people here come from)

Yeah, no it’s ok, I am Australian, but it is still outrageous. I did mean it seems like JB specifically ups their prices every six months or so, could’ve been clearer on that.

You actually can get gaming computers for $400, assuming a ryzen 680M can play all the games you plan on playing.

Just imagine how bad it would be if that fucking asshole who wanted to do what’s basically bitcoin but with storage instead of GPU cycles had his way

Iirc it would also permanently destroy the storage because if it’s repetitive over use
