Is this communist metal? I’m so used to it being full of nazi dorks.
Left wing metal tends end out under the punk umbrella. Crust is just death metal but played by punks essentially
There’s also the RABM scene (Red and Anarchist Black Metal). Most of the notable bands are towards the anarchist side of that, but there are definitely some communist ones. (There is overlap with crust punk, but they’re not really the same genre)
That was damn good, I wasnt expecting something that up my alley. As a genre nerd, I guess deathgrind would be closest but they seem to be approaching it from a more hardcore/piwerviolence angle
